How does your diet change in the weekend? Our normal routine changes. It may be a time when we are more at home with family and friends. Most of us are going out more now and end up having food we have not prepared ourselves.
How does this affect our weight? For some people it just ruins all the effort they would have done during the week.
It is fine for those who want to maintain the weight however for those who are still in your weight loss journey this will slow down the success.
Some tips to keep you on track
plan your days and if possible your meals too
Be careful during the times you can. This can help compensate for the extra food you might be taking later.
Include more vegetables during the day to keep full whilst still low in calories
Keep your portions small when having the “not so good meals”
When full, stop eating
Be careful with the alcohol intake. Take note of what you are having.
Keep a good diary of what you have eaten so you ca look back and see what went wrong and try better next time
